Anyone can take part in music therapy: Children with Autism, expectant mothers, hospice patients, those with speech and language difficulties, IEP goals, those with high anxiety, etc. The Sky is the limit!

Using music to help create the necessary responses. We use to music to help those who are considered non-verbal speak. Use music to help those who have gross motor issues move with musical exercises. There are a variety of interventions to help achieve the goals.
When

Ideally, regularly scheduled session would increase positive results. Weekly is recommended and more depending on the needs and goals of the individual or group.

Music therapists work in a variety of places including but not limited to:
-Private Practice - Schools
- Hospitals - Treatment Centres
-Children’s Centres - Detention Centres

Music has a way of opening our hearts and minds to allow us to heal. It also allows us to act in ways we never thought possible.

Music therapy is a discipline in which credentialed professionals (MTA*) use music purposefully within therapeutic relationships to support development, health, and well-being. Music therapists use music safely and ethically to address human needs within cognitive, communicative, emotional, musical, physical, social, and spiritual domains.
